  Lake Arrowhead and surrounding communities...
Lake Arrowhead is located within the San Bernardino National Forest .  For almost 100 years, Lake Arrowhead has been the premeir mountain resort in Southern California.  Comprised of several areas, each with their own charm, beauty & benefits.  Probably the most significant is “Lake Rights”.  Lake Arrowhead is a “private” lake,  and is restricted to those that own property within the geographic boundaries of “Arrowhead Woods”.  Some of the neighboring areas may be just across the road from the lake, may be 2 minutes to the Village, may even have lake-views, but may not be within “Arrowhead Woods”.  Keep in mind that  homes in Arrowhead Woods  are the only homes that include "Lake Rights".   If using the lake is not a necessity then your options are much more open, diverse & may be less expensive.  But if you do desier to use the lake, then you’ll definitely want to restrict your search to just Arrowhead Woods.  No matter what area of Lake Arrowhead you choose to live in, there are plenty of
entertainment and recreational options available to you and your family. Learn about these options including camping, fishing, Lake Arrowhead Village shopping, and, of course, restaurants in Lake Arrowhead here as well.

Sky Forest & Crest Estates
Sky Forest & Crest Estates are to the south end of the Lake closer to Hwy 18 and tend to be larger parcels, often up to & over an acre. These areas are also very well forested with plenty of old pines, oaks & dogwoods. Many of the homes in Sky Forest and homes in Crest Estates have fantastic views and you’re only a few minutes to the “Village”.

Cedar Glen, California
Cedar Glen is located to the East of the Lake and close to National Forest with many of our favorite trails for hiking, biking & OHV’s. The famous Pacific Crest Trail passes right through Cedar Glen & some of the off-road trails will take you through Green Valley Lake & then on to Big Bear, so you can ride all day! The Lake Arrowhead Village is only about a 5-minute drive. Cedar Glen also has its own village featuring  Cedar Glen Inn which is famous for Breakfasts & the Historic Chef’s Inn for a truly great dinner, plus antique shops & 2 incredible Mountain furniture stores.

Blue Jay, California
Blue Jay is a quaint little Alpine Village located on the North Side of the Lake and a 5 minute drive from Lake Arrowhead Village.  The Blue Jay Village is home to several restaurants, the movie theatres, Jensens Gourmet Market, Starbucks, shops, galleries & Coldwell Banker! The Village was recently purchased by the same folks that purchased the Arrowhead Resort & the Arrowhead Village. They have great plans for updating the village here to resemble a Swiss Alpine town, which will be great as everything is right on the main street and the new look will fit in just right with all the surrounding Pines!

Twin Peaks, California
Great for commuters Twin Peaks is a small community located at the top of the hill just 3 minutes to Blue Jay & less than 10 minutes to Lake Arrowhead.  it is close to Hwy 18 & Hwy 189 runs through the middle of town which makes it quick for getting up & down the mtn.
